Celebrating the five year anniversary of the very influential audio blog Palm Sounds, we release a new version of Sprak titled Palm Sprak.
Under the hood, we have installed a raving mad unicorn, that generates most of the sound, supported by a nasty flower algorithm. Turn the center knob to add more bubblyness, or drag your finger across the speaker grill to revel in filtered murkiness. This synth is not for making melodies. It generates a very raw noise. Make sure you lower the volume before you start it.

sprak does not work on my iPhone 3. just shows up and can Switch it on
I purchased both of the Sprak apps. I like them, but I wish there were a volume knob. I have sensitive ears — which I would like to keep that way — and on the lowest volume setting (that’s using the volume buttons on my iPod Touch), it’s still a little too loud.
You’re absolutely right in that PalmSprak is too loud. Sorry. We dont want to hurt anyones ears. As soon as we have some time off in between family life we’ll update it to have lower volume. Summer is coming to Sweden, and we need to drink beer and mow the lawn. Lowering the maximum volume should solve the problem. I wouldnt want to put an extra volume knob there. There’s no point in having a setting that destroys your eardrums.

hello! I have both palm and regular spraks (spraki?) and ever since I upgraded to iOS5 on my iphone 5, they both mute themselves with certain parameter settings. in order to regain sound, I have to open a different app that utilizes audio, then reopen sprak. it seems like the bubble knob on palm sprak causes this problem most consistently, but I can get this to happen with numerous parameters. any ideas? I LOVE these apps, please help!

Palmsprak no longer works on ipad2 when the bubble knob goes over 50 percent ! I loved this app before guessing it was after os 5 was installed ..it killed all audio coming out of ipad during a perf! Uncool to say the least please fix this issue !! a full restart of the ipad is required to get sound again….

Hello, downloaded both Sprak apps – cute.
PalmSprak kills all audio, but I can’t replicate the settings. I have to open IReal b to start audio again (even music app won’t work).
I noticed last post about this was in April – either you guys drank too much beer and passed out, or you have humongous lawns…
